Yesterday I was reading one of my favorite business blogs and one of the commenters totally slammed the site owner. The commenter stated that they were upset over the reviews and number of posts about a certain website browser. Said commenter felt as though they were in the hip pocket of the browser developers and that they wrote about the browser too much. They wanted less posts about the browser each week and perhaps just a weekly roundup if they felt the need to talk about the browser.

My advice…click away. If you don’t like a certain subject or post, then click away. It’s easy, it’s simple and it’s quick. Secondly it wouldn’t matter one way or another if this particular blogger was in the hip pocket of the developers of said website browser. Chances are, no I know that the blogger in question is a business owner and makes their living from their blog. So if said developer was paying for reviews, then so be it. You don’t have to like it. You can click away. I click away all the time…again it’s easy, it’s simple and it’s quick.

PS – If by any chance Purina (the makers of Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula) is reading this blog, I will certianly shout your company name and glory from the rooftops in rural Upper Dauphin, PA if you would throw the darling Fifi some kibble.

All in all it was a quiet weekend. Our plans to go to Baltimore were shot because of a family emergency, so I didn’t get to meet Yamisi. However we did get to see the movie Wall-E, it wasn’t my favorite movie, but it was cute and it did make me want to recycle. We even got some pool time this past weekend which was great. It did rain, but heck we were wet anyway right?

Today I’m a guest blogger over at Desperately Seeking Sanity and I talked a bit about our upcoming trip to see NKOTB…yes gag me.

I wonder if someone will trade me tickets for the sold out show for an IMac…now there’s a thought!

Today on Twitter John Reese said that (for him) using a Mac makes him more productive, things take less time, Macs are easier to use and he gets more work done.

I may be grasping at straws here, but honey, I think these are signs from the great beyond. I mean how can John Reese and others really be wrong? Why I’m More Productive On A Mac, Why Choose Mac for Productivity, How To Instantly Increase Your Productivity on Your Mac Pt. 1, How To Instantly Increase Your Productivity on Your Mac Pt.2…I could go on but the Internet was used again to my favor and I was able to find the “truths” that promote my point of view.

It’s past Christmas, Valentine’s Day, my birthday, Easter and Memorial Day. But July 4th is just around the corner and I can’t think of a better way for me to celebrate my independence from Bill than on THE Independence Day! I mean really…how fitting would that be?

It’s not you it’s me.

OK, I won’t beat around the bush any longer it really is you.

You have so many women pining after you, so I’m sure that you’ll be fine. But I really need a break. It’s just not working anymore, plain and simple. Maybe we can be friends again, the choice is yours and yours alone. However in true woman fashion, I am going to request that you make major changes before we can consider a friendship of any kind. If I can be so forward, I think you need professional help. In this day in age, it’s not taboo anymore. Just ask. There are many good people out there who can help you work out your issues. I’m sure that you’re good deep, deep, deep down. You’re very surface though, everything looks good on the outside, but on the inside you are washed out and hollow.

Now back to the issues at hand.

You have hurt me in so many ways. The countless hours I’ve spent worrying about you because you broke my heart. Let me tell you what hurts Bill, there is no intimacy between us anymore. Do you know what it feels like for me when I touch all your hot buttons and it takes you forever to warm up? You’re more like a woman than you will ever know. Who are you to take that stereotype away from us?

Every time I turn around I’m afraid. I no longer feel secure with you. Maybe it’s your job or your power, but everyone is out to get you. Do you know how many times I’ve had to look over my shoulder in fright? Do you understand just how many times you have made me sick? The latest attack really beat me down Bill. It took days to recover. All that time lost. All the opportunities lost. You had the chance to make our relationship stronger, but you didn’t want to have anything to do with me. Bill, you’re only there for the happy times, when times get tough you turn a blind eye to the situation. I think what hurts me most is that you are so power and money hungry that you can’t see beyond your nose.

Another thing that bothers me is the fact that you’re everywhere I turn. I can’t go to the grocery store, my friends’ homes, even the local Wal-Mart without feeling your constant presence. It’s almost like you are stalking me. Like you’re lying in wait to see what my next move will be.

Like most couples, we’ve had our good times and our bad times. Remember when we played Monopoly and you kicked my butt from here to Sunday? Or the many times we’ve played hide and seek. And who can forget the time that we were apart for 2 weeks because you were so blue?
But alas this relationship has always been about you. You’re a control freak and will have nothing less. I’ve tried to prove my love over and over again and restore my love to no avail. I’m done and I can’t take it anymore.

I’ve met someone new Bill. Please release your hold on me so I can be happy again. This is my last plea to you.

In my mind, I was thinking, “yeah right”. But this is Lisa, she’s the go to person for issues like this by many.

To be honest, I wanted to figure it out myself and I didn’t want to go to her with my tail between my legs and say, “hey, I did this again”. My webhost was contacted, I’m still waiting for an answer, but Lisa rescued me, so now I can care less if they respond.

I won’t get into the techno-mumble-jumble about the issue at hand, but suffice it to say that Lisa B came to rescue and got my posts back. I’m a little embarrassed…ok alot embarrassed that I haven’t blogged here in almost a year. I honestly don’t care if anyone reads my blog, comments are nice, but they’re not my driving force. Sometimes you just need a little therapy you know? And blogging is a heck of a lot cheaper.

If you’re in a technical quandary…give her a holler.

OK, I’m desperate. It’s not that my life is dull, I can definitely take on writing about my son who always seems to get me into an extroverted mess but do I want this to turn into a mommy blog? No offense against mom blogs, I read a ton, but I want to focus more on business and myths surrounding introversion. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t speak to people regarding introversion/extroversion on the surface as well in the deep.

I’ve rambled enough, how do you get over a dry spell?

I can remember clearly our wonderful day 9 years ago. We had canceled our first wedding date (May 98) due to family squabbles. But before I go on, God’s plan was all over our marriage. In May 98 we were as lost as a ball in tall grass, meaning that we didn’t know Him. On June 6, 1998 we came to know Christ and it was the start of making our relationship stronger…because we were no longer two, we were now three. I hesitate to think about what our life would be like had we gone through with our May 98 plans…we may not be where we are today.

After we got down to brass tax, took the bull by the horns and stole the reigns from the “family”, we had the ceremony of our dreams, complete in shorts and t-shirts by a gorgeous lake with our friends and immediate family…there were even a few jet skiers and boaters who stopped to witness our nuptials. I’ll never forget the standing ovation and woohoo’s at the end from the curious onlookers. My husband cried during the entire ceremony, like he knew immediately it was going to be H. E. double hockey sticks living with me for the rest of his life. He was overjoyed as was I, but the guests couldn’t have both of us crying so I maintained the strong front. But truth be told, I have a hard time remembering the ceremony because I was so focused on my new husband and God. God brought this awesome man into my life who completes me in every way and no I’m not trying to knock off “Jerry Maquire”. He is a rock in my life, a humble spiritual leader, a wonderful husband and father and my best friend.

Today on our anniversary, I am reminded of the scripture, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). We’ve had our ups and downs but have always grown closer and stronger. God ensures that all things are possible!

This one is for you baby!! Happy Anniversary!

I’m not surprised, nor shocked at the results, except to say that I was convinced I was at least 95% addicted.

I like to blog and I do it frequently on the 6 blogs that I operate. I’ve often been asked why and how I can keep up with 6. My reply is simply that I find solace in the therapy that it provides me.

My husband jokes around alot saying that blogging is his answer to therapy. I get concerned when I see more than 3 posts per week on his blog. It’s not that he’s not funny or a great writer, but because I know deep down that he’s stressed out and I don’t like to see him at that point. Towards the end of last week and this week as well, he has been churning out about 2 or 3 posts per day NOT per week but per DAY. But alas I digress because if he doesn’t post to his blog then I’m on him for that. Men just can’t win sometimes.
